TERMS OF GETTING A RUSSIAN VISA
It takes 10 days  to get you a Russian visa, so be prepared. You will need to bring or send to our office  the following items:

  • passport (valid at least 6 months after the planned trip to Russia). Your passport should ahve at least one blank page for the Russian visa and also have no physical damage (pages falling away, damage from washing in a washing machine etc) 
  • filled out and signed visa application
  • one passport-sized picture (black and white or color)
    In order to make sure that we can process your visa in time, we need all these items in our office at least 10 DAYS before the trip.

    PLEASE NOTE:
  • Bair Travels does not bear responsibility for decision of the Russian Consulate to issue you a visa. Visa fee is NOT REFUNDABLE if you are refused a Russian visa.
  • The Russian Consulate has a right to hold a person's passport for up to three weeks in extraordinary cases.
  • WE DO NOT ISSUE VOUCHERS OR INVITATIONS TO OBTAIN A RUSSIAN VISA IN COUNTRIES OTHER THAN FINLAND. IF YOU APPLY FOR A TRIP FROM COUNTRY OTHER THAN FINLAND, IT IS YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY TO GET A RUSSIAN VISA.
  • If you would like to get the Russian visa by yourself, please contact Russian Tours Oy and they will arrange your visa.

    ATTENTION APPLICANTS FROM: Algeria, Angola, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, India, Iraq, Iran, People's Republic of China, North Korea, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Syria, Somalia, Turkey, Chad, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia:

    In order to apply for a Russian visa, you should have a Finnish residence permit (oleskelulupa) and passport valid for at least 6 months after your planned trip to Russia. You should also provide an ORIGINAL letter of acceptance from the college or university that you study in in Finland or an ORIGINAL letter from your employer in Finland.

    Please fill out the visa application with a pen, not a pencil. Only fill out the left column, in English.
    1. Citizenship. State your citizenship here. Unless you have been a citizen of USSR/Russian Federation, this is all you need to state.
    2. Surname = your last name
    3. First name, patronymic = your first name and other names that you have
    4. For those who changed their last and first names
    5. Self-explaining

    7. Object of journey to Russia - please put "tourism"
    8. Russian public or other organization to be visited - skip, do not write anything
    9. Journey route (points of destination) - please put cities in Russia that you will visit, i. e. St Petersburg or Moscow or St Petersburg and Moscow
    10. First day of your visa's validity (arrival in Russia)
    11. Last day of your visa's validity (departure from Russia)
    12. Passport number
    13. Single-entry/double entry depending on the type of visa you are applying for
    14. Leave blank
    15. Your place of work or study in FINLAND, not in your home country
    16. Your permanent address and phone in FINLAND, not in your home country
    17. Place of birth
    18. Number of previous trips to Russia. Put zero if you have not been in Russia yet.
    19. Date of your last trip to Russia. You can put the year of your last trip to Russia, if you don't remember more details.

    Date and Signature: please give your SIGNATURE in the same way that you have signed your passport.
